Dulux Silk is a smooth and creamy emulsion paint for use on walls and ceilings which is ideal for a delicate shine finish.
Up to 13m²/litre
Remove loose or flaking material.
Make sure the surface is clean (no dirt or grease) and dry.
If new, bare and absorbent surface, seal with this product, thinned 10% with water, or if very porous, use Dulux Sealer for Plaster. If the wall is damaged, repair using the appropriate Polycell product.
Stir to ensure paint is completely mixed.
Tip: in hot environments, thin 10% with water if necessary.
Apply 2 coats with a brush or roller, leave 2-4 hours between coats. Do not apply in very damp or humid conditions or in extreme temperatures.
Tip: if the colour change is strong, more coats may be required.
Leave 2-4 hours to dry.
Remove paint from the brush or roller with a cloth and then wash with water.
Keep out of reach of children. If medical advice is needed, have product container or label at hand. Do not get in eyes, on skin, or on clothing. Call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician if you feel unwell. Dispose of contents and container in accordance with all local, regional, national or international regulations. Contains reaction mass of: 5-chloro-2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one [EC no. 247-500-7] and 2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one [EC no. 220-239-6] (3:1), 1,2-benzisothiazol-3(2H)-one. May produce an allergic reaction. Avoid the inhalation of dust. Wear suitable face mask if dry sanding. Special precautions should be taken during surface preparation of pre- 1960s paint surfaces over wood and metal as they may contain harmful lead.
