Using the rolling pin
1. Roll out the icing. Dust the pin with a little icing sugar if it begins to stick. Keep rolling until it is large enough to cover the cake.
2. Fold the icing over the pin, lift it up and unroll the icing completely.
3. Smooth the icing into position with your hand, easing it round as you go.
4. Trim any excessive icing from the bottom of the cake with a fondant cutter. Dishwasher safe.
